I was always curious about and horrified by the Jonestown Massacre. In 1978/79, I tried to collect a bunch of writers to create a drama about the tragedy, but nothing came of it. So now there's a book about one of the families. There was a movie that wasn't so terrific, imho. At least, this book purports to include correspondences by those duped into believing in the narcisstic and totally immoral cult leader Jones. Oh how I loathe purported gurus and cult leaders!
