Nadler Pardon Resolution

Ask your Representative to co-sponsor this "resolution urging President Bush not to pardon senior administration officials for crimes the President authorized. It [also] urges Congress to investigate those crimes and any pardons relating to those crimes, and urges the Attorney General (current or future) to appoint an Independent Counsel to prosecute those crimes."

This bill is sponsored by my Representative, who consistently opposed putting impeachment on the table. Perhaps he's seen the light or received a ton of messages from me and other constituents criticizing his refusal to assist Rep. Kucinich in his brave attempts to get the impeachment ball rolling. Or perhaps he thinks that the new Congress will be able to do what the current one can't. Who knows? I'll have to stop him in the street to inquire.
